About zTracker - About

zTracker is an enterprise-level multi-project issue/bug/ticket tracking system developed in the Zope 2 platform and coded in the Python programming language. zTracker conforms to the XHTML 1.1 and CSS 2.0 web standards and relies on a SQL Database for storage (Currently MySQL is supported with support for Postgres is still in testing).

zTracker runs in Zope and MySQL, which means that you can install it in virtually any plattform, zTracker has been tested in Linux (CentOS 4.4), and Mac OSX (10.4.9).

Requirements: - zTracker requires the following components to operate:

  • [Link] - Zope 2.7+ (Tested on Zope 2.9.2) (There is currently no port to Zope 3, however plans for its implementation is underway).
  • [Link] - CookieCrumbler (For form-based authentication)
  • [Link] - Python bindings for MySQL (MySQLdb and ZMySQLDA) (Tested on 1.2.0)
  • [Link] - Python 2.3+ (Tested on Python 2.4.2)
